CMIP6_CDFDM_JCS (C6CJ) Version 1.0

Overview

CMIP6_ CDFDM_JCS (C6CJ) is the global-scale 0.5° daily climate scenario data for many climate models (up to 38) and experiments (historical (1950–2014) and ssp119, ssp126, ssp245, ssp370, ssp434, ssp534-over, and ssp585 (2015–2100)) from the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6). The horizontal resolution is 0.5°. Daily output data over the land area are bias-corrected via the cumulative distribution function-based downscaling method (CDFDM) (Iizumi et al. 2011). The JRA55-CDFDM-S14FD forcing data (Iizumi 2025) are used as the reference data for the bias correction. The data are not bias-corrected over the ocean (the land mask data is provided). The monthly mean data are also calculated from the daily mean data. We also create the global mean annual averaged surface air temperature data for each ESM and experiment (no bias correction is applied).
